It was one of the most memorable experience!!! The whole time as we were looking up to the sky full of beautiful lanterns, we just kept repeating “omg... wow....”

We bought our tickets during the early bird sale which is recommended if you are trying to go to the Saturday one because it seems like Saturday one sells out faster than the Friday one. Also, its little bit cheaper too :)
The event actually starts in the morning around 9 AM PST so you can enjoy live band music and decorate your lanterns if you like. Of course you gotta walk around the dessert and take some few pictures for the gram! UNFORTUNATELY…. since this was our first time, we thought it would be better to stay in Las Vegas and enjoy our hotel’s swimming pool and then go to the event about hour before the first lantern launch. We realized many people were there during the day to get the spot they wanted and get situated.
It was about 30-45minute drive from the Las Vegas main strip and the wait to get into parking lot was actually really fast. I’ve heard from other people who chose the shuttle bus option that the term between buses were too long so they waited for while.
I finally got to edit our amazing experience at the RISE Festival from last October at Mojave Desert. Words can not describe how beautiful the sky looked when thousands of lanterns were in the air. We felt we were in space surrounded by stars!!! It was definitely MUUUCHH MORE than what we expected and we hope be there again someday!
